DuxxBak has dimensionally realistic wood grain yet contains no wood. DuxxBak wood-free composite decking is engineered to be watertight. The unique interlocking design keeps water from leaking through the deck. Instead, Water travels through the Duxxbak™ channels and exits at the end of the deck.
Install DuxxBak waterproof decking on a 2nd level deck and the space underneath becomes usable as extended outdoor living space or storage. When the rain moves in promising to soak outdoor activities, those activities can move under deck and continue. Outdoor furniture, vehicles, and other equipment can safely be stored under the deck no matter the weather.

A: DuxxBak is designed to run perpendicular to the home, as it requires an unrestricted minimum pitch of 1/8” per foot in the direction of intended water flow (along the length of the deck board). If existing joists are running perpendicular, cross-bracing can be added in order to create joists that are parallel.
A: No, DuxxBak is designed to provide weather protection for outdoor living areas, such as patios or decks, by shedding water away from the surface. It is not intended or approved for use over temperature-controlled, enclosed indoor spaces. For such applications, additional waterproofing measures and materials designed specifically for interior environments would be necessary.
