Resysta Has Warmth of Wood but is Wood Free

Resysta Has the Warmth of Wood—Without the Wood

When most people think of Resysta, they think of sustainable, low-maintenance decking. But Resysta is also highly effective and visually striking when used as resysta siding or commercial building cladding.

Project Overview

HDG Building Materials supplied Resysta for the Timberland Town Center Cladding Project, which includes six retail buildings, a 43,000-square-foot Market of Choice grocery store, and a public plaza. This project demonstrates how Resysta delivers durability, design flexibility, and low maintenance in demanding commercial environments.

Sustainable Resysta Siding

Resysta looks and works like wood but doesn’t contain any wood at all. This innovative material is made from recycled rice husks, salt, and mineral oil, making it sustainable, weather-resistant, and rot-free. Because it’s derived from an abundant by-product of rice farming, Resysta contributes nothing to deforestation and can even help projects earn LEED points.

Resysta Profiles and Colors

The Timberland Town Center buildings use Resysta siding in warm, natural tones that harmonize beautifully with brick, stone, and glass.

Project details:

  • Profile: 2-Channel Hollow Core (13/16” x 2 ¾” x 12’)
  • Color: FVG C26 Rust
